Walt Disney World Resort is an enchanting world of fairytale magic and happiness that all the family can enjoy. 

Disney is renowned for its captivating and enthralling blend of magic and happy-ever-after endings in its films, and this sentiment and frame of mind has been brilliantly transferred into a thrilling and cherished resort that provides theme parks, shows and family friendly attractions.

There are a range of theme parks and water parks inside the resort itself and each offers something different and fun for all the family to cherish. In the Disney resort, there is the Magic Kingdom Park, Epcot, Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon, and Disney’s Blizzard Beach.

The Magic Kingdom Park is one of the best loved and easily identifiable parts of the resort as this is where all the best -loved characters come to life. It is also the part of the park that really captures the history and heritage of what Walt Disney achieved. For kids who love what Disney is all abut and for adults who appreciate the legacy, the Magic Kingdom is where you will find Disney’s original heritage. The first thing you will see in this area of the park is the defining Cinderella castle and visitors will be treated to backstage tours, the chance to mingle with Disney characters as well as plenty of classic attractions and music to help build up the atmosphere.

The Magic Kingdom is spread across one hundred and seven acres and comprises other different lands that children and their parents can explore. There is Liberty Square, Tomorrowland area, Fantasyland Area, Main Street USA area, Adventureland Area and Frontierland Area. All these aspects provide magical inspiration and vary in the kinds of things they offer – which helps to keep people interested and, more importantly, helps to appeal to everyone.

No mention of Walt Disney Resort would be complete without highlighting the fabulous character parade that is so famous. These parades and shows can be found in Magic Kingdom and are a delight for all youngsters who want to meet their idols. There are also attractions in this part of the park that appeal to both boys and girls. The Pirates League, for example, allows youngsters, mainly boys, to transform into a pirate, whilst girls can enjoy being pampered and made beautiful in the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique.

The Blizzard Beach part of the park is also hugely popular with people of all ages and allows all the family to cool off and enjoy all the fun of the water park. At this part of the park there is a multitude of attractions including thrill rides, family-style raft rides and traditional waterslides. In fact, Blizzard Beach is home to one of the world’s tallest and fastest free-falling waterslides – so not for the faint hearted! As well as lots of adrenalin-fuelled options, however, this aspect of the park also proves to be a great hub of fun for youngsters too. The water wonderland offers fountain play areas as well as much more light-hearted splash rides including ‘tobaggon racers’; ‘country creek’ and ‘runoff rapids’. For the adults, there are also many areas to relax and unwind – so everyone can enjoy what’s on offer.

Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon is also similar and offers many swimming pools and slides, and the Animal Kingdom part of the park is just as magical and awe-inspiring as you would expect. It is the world’s largest animal themed area and boasts plenty of attractions and interactive displays that help to inspire and provide adventure for the masses.

The Epcot part of the resort is one of the most futuristic aspects of the park and dominates the site with its three hundred acres of innovative offerings and attractions. The vast area is divide into two parts – Future World and World Showcase.

Future World is one of the most dynamic and impressive attractions at the park and boasts attractions that are based around and showcase technological developments. World Showcase is exactly how it sounds – it is an attraction that provides snippets of many countries in the world. Inside this area, you will find a collection of pavilions and within these you will see a multitude of attractions, restaurants and shops that directly relate to, and highlight, the culture of eleven countries – The United Kingdom, Canada, Mexico, Norway, China, Italy, France, America, Japan, Morocco and Germany. Whilst sampling each section of this park, you will also be able to stop and have a breather whilst watching live shows that are continuously taking place. The whole place is buzzing and brimming with entertainment and innovation and you will be truly amazed and enlightened with regards to everything that is going on around you.
